The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most spectacular natural sights, rising 214 metres above the Atlantic and stretching 8 kilometres along the County Clare coast. Formed over 300 million years ago, they combine dramatic scenery, wildlife, and legend. Visitors can enjoy safe walkways with stunning views of the ocean, the Aran Islands, and O’Brien’s Tower, built in 1835. The cliffs are home to many seabirds, including puffins and guillemots, while the Visitor Centre shares stories of their formation, local history, and maritime legends. More than a photo spot, the Cliffs of Moher offer a powerful experience of Ireland’s wild beauty.

Today, we are going to visit Galway, a lively city on Ireland’s west coast. It is famous for its colorful streets, music, and friendly people. Galway has a rich history, with many old buildings and stories from the Middle Ages. The city is by the Atlantic Ocean, and many visitors enjoy its festivals and street performances. On the way, imagine what it will be like to walk around this exciting city. Think about the differences between Dublin and Galway — it will be a fun day exploring!
We have arrived in Galway! From here, we will walk to the museum or the place where our walking tour begins. Walking in Galway is special because the streets are narrow and full of shops, cafés, and colorful buildings. Look around and see if you notice anything interesting — street art, signs in Irish language, or musicians playing. This city feels alive and busy. Walking is a great way to learn about the city’s culture and history. Keep your eyes open and enjoy the sounds and smells around you!
Now we start the walking tour and visit the museum. The walking tour will take us through some of Galway’s most famous places, like Eyre Square and the Spanish Arch. You will hear stories about pirates, kings, and the old days when Galway was a port city trading with Spain and France. At the museum, you can see objects from Galway’s past, like old clothes, tools, and pictures. This is a great chance to understand how people lived here a long time ago and how Galway became the city it is today.
After the walking tour and museum, you will have some free time to explore by yourself. You can buy souvenirs, try some local food, or just walk along the lively streets. Remember to stay safe and meet back at the coach drop-off point on time. On the way back to Dublin, think about your favorite parts of Galway. What did you learn? What was new or surprising? This trip is a great way to practice English and discover Irish culture at the same time.
