Students have easy access to buses and other local transport links, making travel to and from activities, excursions, and city attractions straightforward and safe. The campus layout allows students to walk easily between classrooms, accommodation, and dining facilities, reducing the need for daily transport and ensuring a comfortable, secure experience throughout their stay.
The Luas Green Line runs nearby, offering fast access to the city centre, Ranelagh, and south Dublin.
Numerous Dublin Bus routes operate in the area, linking you directly to destinations across the city including UCD, DCU, and southside colleges.
Your TFI Leap Card works on all buses, trams, and trains. For real-time route planning and live departure times, you can use the TFI Live or Dublin Bus app from the Apple or Google Play app store. Thanks to its central location, most places in the inner city are within a 10–20 minute walk, making it easy to get to classes, meet friends, or explore everything Dublin has to offer.
Your evening activities will talk place both on and off campus. When doing an off campus activity, students will use Dublin's public transport systems.
There will be multiple members of our Yellow Shirts team supervising students round the clock at TUD Dublin to supervise all students both day and night.
Students and Group Leaders should wear their lanyard at all times on the campus. If you don't, you will be asked to return home to collect it!!
